The most important technical and commercial aquaculture event in the continent, which has been held for more than 20 years in Ecuador; organized by the National Chamber of Aquaculture, with the main objective of promoting knowledge and innovation in the aquaculture community, on a global scale.
Its structure combines a trade show and a scientific-technical congress. Hundreds of Ecuadorian and foreign companies participate in the tradeshow, exposing the highlights of their portfolio of products and services. At the congress, topics of interest and importance for the aquaculture sector are addressed, such as: disease prevention and management, nutrition and feeding practices, efficiency and technological innovations, crop diversification, genetic improvement, market trends, etc. Researchers and aquaculture professionals from all over the world participate and present their latest research and technological advances.
The success of Aqua Expo is evidenced by the sustainable and inclusive growth of the event, both in terms of the number of participants at the tradeshow and the number of attendees at the congresses.
